Essential Ground Work

Most of you should know that work will be being done on the ground this Friday between 9.30 and 12.00 pm.

This is not a spring clean, it is essential work that needs to be undertaken so that we can all play cricket during the summer.

Invariably a small collection of people end up doing this (and almost every other job) during the year.

However, my understanding of the committee meeting last night was that this is about to change. Therefore, if you don't attend, and you don't have other responsibilities within the club, you will probably be assigned another task later in the season.

This year it would be great if we could get a large party at the ground, especially as there are several difficult (but quite satisfying) jobs to be done.

Tea, coffee and hot cross buns will be served at 12.00am.
