One of our former players has died suddenly at the age of 63. Richard Banks joined the club in 1971 and played for 3 seasons making 68 appearances, before moving away and playing his cricket and football for Winscombe. MONTY'S MESSAGEThanks to Failand & Portbury for getting me this [ECB Level 1 coaching] certificate.Well, I have been keeping track on the points table of our 1st XI.We really need to commit ourselves more for the club. Sadly I have damaged my left thumb. It will take nearly 4 to 5 weeks to bring it back to normal.I believe we are depending on our batting which will have to deliver in every match.

WEEKEND 14th/15th MAY RESULTSAlthough the 1st XI crashed at home against Lodway (despite scoring a massive 280), the other 3 teams all won.
